Mustafa Abdullah Akova founded TMA in 1975 under the name “Supertrans”, the company was given the name “Transcontinental” in 1989 and reached its current identity in 1999 and achieved growth by keeping up with the latest technology and processes.

TMA was recognised by the state sectors shortly after its establishment and provided Freight Forwarding services for the first time in Turkey to Seka Paper Factory one of the leading business enterprises of the time.

Since its founding in 1975 TMA has provided a high quality of service and has focused on improving its range of services by listening to customer feedback and incorporating this in it systems and processes.

In addition to international freight & forwarding and logistics services, TMA has specialised staff and worldwide networking in customs clearance, warehouse, inland transportation, insurance and packaging.

TMA has completed high volume logistics projects of major state institutions such as Tüpraş, Petkim, Tügsaş, Alarko, Kümaş, Ministry Of National Defense, Tai-Tusaş.
